The Adidas #ThereWillBeHaters campaign was launched earlier this year and celebrates the hate at the heart of football with a twinkle in the eye.

The video tracks the incredible career journey of Lionel Messi from the streets of Rosario to the record-breaking player he is today.

With Lionel Messi close to his very best form, as he's showed just a few days ago against Manchester City, and El Clásico looming, Adidas couldn't have got the timing better.

During the video, Lionel Messi is confronted by many of the criticisms voiced against him during his footballing career. Instead of replying himself, Messi tells the haters to shut up by showing off the many trophies he has won, individually and as a Barcelona player.

The new Lionel Messi #ThereWillBeHaters video follows up on the launch of Lionel Messis newest Adidas Pibe de Barr10 boots, which were designed by Rosario-born graphic artist Ignacio Valenti to honor Messi's origins.
