Bayer Leverkusen Redesign By Daniel Nyari

New York City based illustrator Daniel Nyari has created a stunning redesign of the Bayer Leverkusen crest combining the shape of the famous Bayer Cross and the colors of the German Bundesliga club.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen Logo Redesign

This is the redesigned Bayer Leverkusen Crest.

The redesigned Bayer Leverkusen crest features a much cleaner design than the current logo. Daniel Nyari draws inspiration from the Bayer cross, and combines it with a second ring featuring the iconic colors of Bayer 04 Leverkusen - Black, Red and Yellow.

Compared to the current Bayer Leverkusen crest, graphic designer Daniel Nyari ditches the lions. The lions are a nod to the first Bayer trademark, which was based on the coat-of-arms of Elberfeld, Germany, where Bayer was headquartered at the time. It was added to the Bayer 04 Leverkusen crest in 1996.
