Based on the Solar Yellow Adidas X 15.1 Boots, Javier Saviola painted over the upper of the Adidas X Cleats using an Edding pen. While other players take a lot of trouble to create completely blackout boots, the 33-year old legend only did the bare minimum.
Javier Saviola previously wore the white Adidas F50 Adizero Boots, while he switched to the blackout Adidas X 2015-2016 Cleats in early August 2015.
Saviola, who played for teams such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Benfica and Malaga, had been sponsored by Adidas since early 2003, while he previously laced up in Nike Mercurial Boots. It now looks like that Javier Saviola left the Three Stripes after more than 12 years.
It would have been much easier to black-out the black Adidas X Boots.
