Something Is Wrong Here... Leo Messi To Live Stream 'First Reaction' When Receiving New Boots On Periscope
Is there anybody out there who needs this? Lionel Messi will take part in his first ever live stream on Periscope at 15:00 CET today. And while the live stream will not only show Messi's skills in training, it will also showcase his reaction when receiving his new boots for the first time. But something is wrong here.
Last week, Adidas revealed the white Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Cleats featuring a design inspired by the Argentinian flag to suit his Gambeta style of play. However, Messi laced up in the first colorway of the Adidas Messi 15.1 Boots in Saturday's La Liga clash against Atlético Madrid to give the white Messi Boots a debut on European's biggest stage - the UEFA Champions League.
First reaction? Leo Messi Already Trained in his new boots in Barcelona's training session this midday
Close-up of Messi's Boots in today's FC Barcelona training session.
According to Adidas, the live stream will show Messi's reaction when he receives the new white Adidas Messi 15.1 Football Boots for the first time. From the press release:
The live stream will not only show Messi's skills in training, but also his reaction when receiving his new Messi15 boots for the first time, inspired by the Argentinian flag and designed to suit his Gambeta style of play.
So what is wrong? While it's already unlikely that Leo Messi didn't hold his hands on his new white cleats some months ago, it's certain that he received his white boots ahead of today's FC Barcelona training session, which already finished earlier today.
Update: Leo Messi was live on Periscope for the first time.

Germany 2026 World Cup Kit Match Details Concept
Following Germany's massive 7-1 victory over Curaçao in the 2026 World Cup, football kit enthusiasts have found a unique use for the central design element of the team's home shirt. The Germany 2026 kit features a prominent white diamond pattern on the chest, which has sparked creative ideas online.
Inspired by a suggestion from Twitter user @ForbiddenShirts, kit enthusiast @KitNerdUK created a mock-up that places the historic match details directly inside the central white diamond. The edit neatly frames the scoreline and opponent, utilizing the otherwise empty space in the middle of the chest.
While the concept looks clean for this specific match, fans have pointed out that longer team names or additional match information might not fit as easily within the diamond shape. Nevertheless, it offers an interesting perspective on how match details could be integrated into the bold 2026 design.

Portugal Players to Wear Special Diogo Jota Tribute Bracelets at 2026 World Cup
The Portugal national team will wear special tribute bracelets throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup in memory of Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away last summer. The initiative comes from Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, who personally gifted the custom accessories to the players and staff ahead of the tournament.
Each custom bracelet features the individual player's name alongside Diogo Jota's name, serving as a constant reminder of their late teammate. The squad is set to keep the bracelets on during all of their matches in the World Cup, honoring Jota's legacy on the biggest stage in international football.
