Neymar Switches to Camouflaged Low-Cut Nike Hypervenom Boots

FC Barcelona superstar Neymar has trained for the first time in a camouflaged version of the Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots after he switched to the Squadron Blue Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots more than two weeks ago.

On September 22, Nike Hypervenom cover star Neymar surprisingly switched to the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Lightning Storm Pack Cleats after he had worn the Nike Hypervenom Boots since the launch of the silo in May 2013. Before Nike launched the Nike Hypervenom Boots, Neymar was famous for wearing the Nike Mercurial since his very early days as a footballer.

Neymar's completely custom Hyper Grape Nike Hypervenom Boots are anything but the standard version of the Nike Hypervenom Phinish. Even though Neymar's Cleats boast the visual design of the Nike Hypervenom Lightning Storm Pack Boots, his boots are actual identical technically to the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10.

A direct comparison between Neymar's completely custom Nike Hypervenom Boot and the his standard edition of the Squadron Blue Nike Mercurial Vapor makes it very clear that Nike created a hybrid of the Nike Hypervenom (design) and Nike Mercurial Vapor (construction).

Nike Hypervenom Neymar Edition vs standard Nike Hypervenom Phinish

Let's compare the standard Nike Hypervenom with the camouflaged Nike Hypervenom Phinish Neymar Boots. Whereas the regular version of the Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots features a remarkable upper structure with Flywire strings (worn by teammate Adriano), Neymar's Camouflaged Nike Hypervenom feature the smooth upper pattern of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10.

It will be quite interesting to see if Neymar is satisfied with his low-cut camouflaged Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots as he also laced up in the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots during today's training session. If so, it will be at least as exciting to see who will become the new cover athlete of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom Boots featuring the iconic but not essential Dynamic Fit collar.
