Nike Mercurial Superfly 'Violet Pop' Concept Boots

Who doesn't remember this boot? Instagram graphic designer Swoosh Customs has continued his Superfly Project with a new concept shoe that merges the design of the second generation Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly with the current generation of the cutting-edge speed boot after he already re-created the original Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots.

Released in 2010, the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II Boot introduced the revolutionary SenseStud technology. The innovative studs can extend and retract by up to 3mm, based on ground conditions and pressure by the player. Like the first generation of the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly Boots, the second-gen featured Flywire strings in the upper. For the 2010 World Cup, Nike also introduced a carbon-fibre sole plate for the so-called Elite Series version of the Mercurial Vapor Superfly II to further reduce the weight of the speed silo.

Boasting the trademark design of the Nike Mercurial Superfly 'Violet Pop' Cleats, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 4 Cleat by Swoosh Customs combines the striking colors purple and orange to make a bold statement on the pitch.

Tech-wise, the upper of the Nike Mercurial Superfly 'Violet Pop' Tribute Boots is the same used for the regular edition of the fourth generation of the Nike Mercurial Superfly, whereas the sole plate is the one introduced for the second generation (including the revolutionary SenseStud).

Anything but dull. Would you like to see the bold design of the Nike Mercurial Superfly 'Violet Pop' Boots as an actual release? Let us know in the comments below, and also check out the Nike Mercurial Superfly 'Original' Boots by @swooshcustoms72.
