Ibrahimović to Join Adidas?

Is Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to join the Three Stripes? While it was reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed a new Nike deal in June 2015, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar yesterday published a picture on social media that strongly indicates that he is set to switch to Adidas.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had been lacing up in blackout boots since November 2014, while he returned to branded Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots in June 2015. Since then, he has been wearing no other boots than Nike's cutting-edge low-cut speed boot.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Switch to the Three Stripes for the Last Years of His Career?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic posted the following picture of him wearing the brand-new Adidas Sweden Home Kit.

While it's naturally nothing really special that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has published a picture of him wearing the kit of the Swedish national team ahead of the crucial Euro 2016 Qualifiers play-off match against Denmark next week, there are two strong indicators that let us assume that the 34-year old legend could join Adidas for the last years of his career.

First, Ibrahimovic's picture is actually an image made by Adidas. Second, his Tweet not only includes the lettering "The new home jersey for Sweden. Proud to wear this when we battle for our place at the Euro 2016." but also the Hashtag BeTheDifference, which is used by Adidas Football as their global slogan since they announced their football revolution in June 2015. With these two facts, it becomes almost likely that Ibrahimović will switch to Adidas in the coming weeks.

In fact, Zlatan Ibrahimovic posted the last Tweet sponsored by Nike during the 2014 World Cup. Since then, he hasn't published a picture on social media made by the Swoosh.
