Revolutionary Laceless Adidas Boots Receive World's First On-Pitch Debut

Athletic defender Aymeric Laporte has become the first player to debut the revolutionary laceless Adidas Boots after Manchester City midfielder David Silva already debuted the blackout version of the next-gen Adidas Ace Primeknit Boots against Southampton.

France U21 international Laporte, who joined the Three Stripes last season, debuted the blackout version of the laceless Adidas Cleats in yesterday's Copa del Rey match against Linense, while he even managed to score the first-ever goal of the revolutionary laceless boots in the 19th minute. He usually laces up in the synthetic version of the Adidas X 15.1 Boots.

Aymeric Laporte laced up in non-modified version of the laceless Adidas Boots. Combining a knitted upper with a techfit collar and no laces, the laceless Adidas Boots are set to be launched in January 2016 as Adidas Ace PureControl Boots with a bold Solar Green paint job.

It's the first time that the laceless Adidas Boots have been spotted in an actual match after various players such as Bayern Munich's Holger Badstuber and Chelsea's Nemanja Matic were already spotted them wearing them in training sessions last month.

Yet again a much too early on-pitch debut. What do you think is the intention of Adidas that their players already debut their totally new boots? Let us know in the comments below.
