Espanyol Secure Sponsorship Deal From New Chinese Owners

Spanish club RCD Espanyol has secured their first-ever sponsorship deal from their Chinese owners Rastar Group. Espanyol already debuted their new sponsor in the league clash against arch rivals FC Barcelona in Saturday's game at the Cornella-El Prat Stadium.

Rastar Group is a Chinese conglomerate that acquired a 56 per cent stake in the La Liga side in November. The company will serve as club sponsor for the remaining season. It was also revealed that Espanyol will sport the logos of a number of different Raster-owned brands in the coming months until the end of the 2015-16 season.

Espanyol's previous deal with Power8 was terminated last year after it emerged that the Costa Rica-registered company was facing accusations of fraud. Espanyol and Power8 previously agreed a seven-year deal for the naming rights of the stadium and the shirt sponsorship.

RCD Espanyol 52tt.com Kits

Here are the RSD Espanyol Home and Away Kit boasting the 52tt.com sponsor logo.

Boasting the same design as the regular kits, the new RCD Espanyol 2016 Kit comes with the logo of the Chinese video game application 52tt.com on the front, replacing the logo of previous sponsors Power8.

However, while Espanyol until today only entered the pitch wearing the 52tt.com branding, it will be very interesting to see which other brands of the Chinese group will be placed on Espanyol's kit in the coming weeks.
