Never-Seen-Before Next-Gen Nike Mercurial 2016-2017 Prototype Boots Leaked

These boots are different to anything we've ever seen before. Five pictures of a worn-off Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-2017 Boot were sent in by Footy Headlines follower @fabian_alvarez7 yesterday. And while he describes the boots just a next-gen prototypes, we'll try to clear up with the boots that are - at least - definitely showing a prototype of the upcoming Nike Mercurial 2016-2017 Cleat.

One-of-a-Kind Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-2017 Prototype Boots

This is the best picture of the cleats that are - most likely - a blackout prototype of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly.

Boasting a stealth look, the first thing that comes to our mind is that these boots must have been used in incredible many training sessions as they look anything but brand-new. So it's very likely that the pictures show a very early prototype of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots, compared to previous pictures which showed later prototypes.

The worn-off Nike Mercurial 2016-2017 Superfly Cleat features a synthetic upper that looks very different to the leaked Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-2017 Boots, which comes with a Flyknit upper. Additionally, the boots boasts stamped-in brandings that are really unusual for any prototypes or actual boots.

Apart from that, it's also interesting to see that the worn-off next-gen Nike Mercurial 2016-2017 Cleat comes with a remarkable fish-skin like pattern on the upper, while the new trademark speed ribs texture on the upper is much more stamped that the one of the first leaked boots.

However, as the sole plate is the same as the one from both of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots and the next-gen high-cut Nike Mercurial Veloce Boots, there is only one question that remains for us. Are these pictures really showing the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boot or just the lower-tier Nike Mercurial Veloce?

As the prototype both looks quite different to both leaked next-gen Mercurial Boots (Superfly and Veloce), we can't answer this question. However, the only thing that is sure for us that these prototypes are rather early versions of what is one of the most-awaited boots in the coming months.
