Houston Dash 2016 Home Kit Released

NWSL's Houston Dash today unveiled the new home kit for the upcoming season, inspired by the 2015 United States away jersey and drenched in the club's trademark orange and white.

Whereas the top men's league in the United States and Canada, the MLS, is supplied by Adidas through a league-wise contract, the brand's main rival Nike acts as global sponsor for the National Women's Soccer League.

The Houston Dash 2016 jersey is based on Nike's new, US-exclusive 'DQT Game Jersey 16', a design that's heavily influenced by the USA 2016 away shirt. It's mostly orange with a tonal graphic, while it fades to yellow and white at the top. The v-collar is colored in solid white.

Houston Dash unveiled their new 2016 home uniforms in honor of the National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

"We thought it would be a great way to draw attention to women in sports," Dash managing director Brian Ching said of the uniform release date. "Obviously we have a lot of strong role models on our team. We are proud of the fact they're great role models for girls in this community."
