Nike LunarEpic Flyknit Revealed - 8 Colorways

Just over two years ago, Nike unveiled a completely novel concept to the world of football boots, the 'Dynamic Fit' heightened collar. Having made big strides in the cleat game since, both by expanding to more and more Nike models and by inspiring the competition, the collar is here to stay. Later today, the Swoosh will unveil the all-new LunarEpic Flyknit running shoe, the first of its kind to feature the collar.

This is the all-new Nike LunarEpic running shoe.

Design-wise, the new Nike LunarEpic shoe will come in bold and striking colorways, which will see the eye-catching sole set off in white. The lateral Nike Swoosh is black.

The style of the collar on the Nike LunarEpic shoes appears very similar to that used on the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV football boots, while the overall look with the huge sole slightly resembles that of the MagistaX Proximo.

Other than the hightop collar, the all-new Nike LunarEpic Flyknit running shoes feature a Flyknit upper, while the second standout feature is the thick sole. Taken from the -also unreleased- new Nike LunarGlide 8 shoes, it's designed to bring improved cushioning and a barefoot-like feel. Also like known from the Mercurial, an internal heel counter appears to be present to protect the heel area.

The new Nike LunarEpic Flyknit trainers will be launched as early as March 3, with an initial offering of eight colorways.
