Benjamin Mendy Shows Off Stunning, Unique Blacked-Out Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots

Olympique Marseille left back Benjamin Mendy used custom blacked-out version of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots in Marseille's Ligue 1 match against Toulouse. And while this spot usually would not be important enough for an extra feature on our website after it was already included in our Boot Watch, it is the stunning way he unbranded his cleats that is well worth a closer look.

Benjamin Mendy Debuts Unique Blacked-Out Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots

Boasting the signature Mango color of the latest Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots for the Dynamic Fit collar, it's obvious what's the base of Benjamin Mendy's custom blacked-out boot. However, whereas the standard Bright Mango Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleat comes with an all-orange upper and a shimmering silver Swoosh, Mendy painted over these elements with black pen to give Nike no free advertisement (He even painted over the Mercurial lettering on the heel area).

Have you spotted any other players wearing such unique blacked-out boots? Would you get your hands on such a paint job if Nike would release them? Do you think that he will leave the Swoosh? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates on Benjamin Mendy's Boots in the coming weeks.
