Espanyol Launches Special Kit to Honor Legendary Keeper Ricardo Zamora

In honor of the 100th anniversary of Ricardo Zamora's first match in an Espanyol shirt on April 22, RCD Espanyol and its kit supplier Joma have unveiled a special goalkeeper jersey inspired by the one worn by the legendary keeper in the 1920s and 30s.

Inspired by the iconic shirts worn by Zamora himself, the special Espanyol goalkeeper kit is predominantly white with an eye-catching blue v across the chest and two further blue stripes around the hem and the sleeves. A 1916-2016 write-off was added below the Espanyol crest.
