PSG Youngster Kimpembe Leaks Next-Gen Adidas Ace 17 Boots

Update: 21-year old PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe has shown off a picture of the next-generation Adidas Ace 17 boots on Snapchat.

Around half a year ahead of the scheduled release, the first images of a 'V1' 2017 Adidas Ace 17.1 boots have been leaked. The Adidas Ace 17.1 soccer boots are expected to be unveiled in late 2016.

Adidas introduced the Ace in summer 2015, marketing it as a boot for players who control the pace of the game. Now we get a first look at one of the first prototypes of the Adidas Ace 17.1.

The next-gen Adidas Ace 17.1 2017 football shoes feature a unique upper in the forefoot area, slightly reminiscent of that of the Adidas Messi 15.1 boots. However, whereas the technologies seem to be almost identical to the final version of the cleats, there is one element that makes this leak very special.

The outstep of the Adidas Ace 17.1 comes with an engraved V1 to indicate that this is version 1 prototype. According to @pjimenez71, there are two further blackout versions of the cleats. A V2 version and a final version (He didn't show off pictures of those boots, unfortunately) .

The sole plate of the blackout Adidas Ace 2017 V1 Prototype football boots is identical to that of the 2016 Adidas Ace 16 cleats, featuring a fairly standard set of conical studs, as well as an external heel counter.
