Kit Clash | Red Bull Salzburg Defender Wears RB Leipzig Kit in Champions League Match

That should not happen. Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg played Latvian champions FK Liepaja in the second round of Champions League qualification last Tuesday, but a third team was bizarrely represented on the pitch...

Andreas Ulmer Wears Wrong Kit Only in Second Half

Andreas Ulmer started the match wearing a correct kit.

While Salzburg defender Ulmer was wearing a correct Salzburg kit in the official team photo before the match like the rest of his teammates, the left back was spotted wearing a kit from Red Bull's German franchise Lepzig in the second half which indicates that he must have made a shirt swap at halftime.

No one could explain what happened after the match, though it was most likely nothing more than a simple packaging error. Nike had sent Salzburg between 600 and 700 kits during the summer. All of them have since been checked and no other rogue Leipzig kits were found.

RB Leipzig's and Red Bull Salzburg's kits are exactly the same apart from the logo (Salzburg is not allowed to use the crest with Red Bull's logo due to UEFA regulations)

What to you think of Red Bull's manner to give two different clubs almost the same shirts? Let us know in the comments below and watch out for Ulmer's kit in today's second leg of the Champions League qualification match between Liepaja and Salzburg.
