Manchester City 16-17 Font Revealed
In line with the club's new badge, visual identity and kits, Manchester City has also updated its typeface. Due to the Premier League having its own league-wide font, the new Man City typeface will only be used in cup competitions.

This is the new typeface used for player names and numbers on the new Manchester City 2016-2017 jerseys.
Colored dark blue on the sky blue Manchester City home kit and yellow on the black away dress, the new font takes inspiration from the one used inside the new club badge. It's a bold and simple sans-serif and features the City crest on the inside bottom. Last but not least, a subtle shadow effect is present.
