RB Leipzig 16-17 Kits Released
Newly promoted German Bundesliga team RB Leipzig today officially revealed the new Leipzig 16-17 home and away kits. Almost identical to the Red Bull Salzburg jerseys that were already debuted a few weeks ago, the new Leipzig 2016-17 jerseys will be worn throughout the club's first-ever Bundesliga season, only seven years after the club's establishment.
Leipzig 16-17 Home Kit
This is the new RB Leipzig 2016-2017 home shirt.
After last season's RB Leipzig jersey featured a traditional collar, the new Leipzig 16-17 kit boasts a modern neckline with red trim around the rear. Further red detailing is present on the new RB Leipzig home shirt in the form of the Swoosh on the chest and a stripe on either side.
The iconic RB sponsor logo is visible on the front of the RB Leipzig jersey, while the upper back shows a RB Leipzig writing, with player names and numbers to be positioned below. Additionally, a Die Roten Bullen (German for 'Red Bulls', the teams nickname) graces the rear of the collar.
The shorts of the Leipzig 16-17 home kit are all-red with a white Swoosh, while the socks are white with red applications.
Leipzig 16-17 Away Kit
This is the new RB Leipzig 2016-17 away jersey by Nike.
Based on the same ground template, the new Leipzig away shirt is dark blue with yellow piping around the back of the collar and a red stripe on either side. It features a round collar, while the Nike Swoosh on the front of the RB Leipzig 2016-2017 away kit is also yellow.
Yellow shorts with red and navy trim, and dark blue socks with yellow striping on the back complete the bold look of the Leipzig 16-17 away kit.
