Lewandowski Scored with a Hole in His Hypervenom Boot

Update: We've added two new close-up pictures as well as a post-match interview in which the Polish striker talks about the hole in the boot.

Lewandowski's Nike Hypervenom Boot Got Damaged vs Werder Bremen

Here are two close-ups of Lewandowski's cleats.

If you watched Bayern Munich's start to the new Bundesliga season, you might have noticed this:

Sometime during the second half, a Bremen player stepped on Lewandowski right boot, ripping a hole in silver Nike Hypervenom right at the front. Having already scored twice, Lewandowski decided to carry on playing with the damaged shoe, scored another goal and helped Bayern win 6-0 over their hopeless rival.

Lewandowski is one of just 11 high-profile players lacing up in boots from Nike's Elite Pack, and today's incident surely helped promote this.
