Invisible Numbers - Hummel Denmark 2016-17 Kits | On-Pitch Debuts

It was likely the strangest on-pitch look of this summer. When Denmark entered the pitch against Liechtenstein one week ago, they were not wearing their traditional red but an strange all-white kit by their new shirt supplier Hummel that was launched the day ahead of the match.

All-White Denmark 2016-2017 Special Kit | On-Pitch

All-white, Denmark's 2016-17 special kit would be perfect for any tennis player in Wimbledon, but was not well suited for the match because the numbers of the jersey were nearly invisible.

The all-white Denmark 2016-17 special shirt not only seemed to be not right, and it was therefore well granted by the spectaors that the Danish national football team was back in their traditional colors for the important 2018 World Cup qualifiers match against Armenia.

However, whereas the white Denmark kit looked quite unsuited, the new Denmark home kit looked as expected, at least in the beginning of the match. Combining the classic colors red and white with subtle unique details, it was interesting to monitor how Denmark's kit grew darker throughout the match due to the heavy rain.

It was a successful debut for Denmark wearing the new Hummel kit as they won 1-0 against Armenia.
