Red Limit Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility Boots Leaked

Update: Vancouver Whitecaps Kekuta Manneh, who is backed by Messi this season, has shown off the upcoming Red Limit Adidas Messi 2016-2017 boots (16.1 version, the same as worn by Messi) on Instagram, confirming the release of the cleat.

Adidas will release yet another eye-catching colorway for the second generation of its Messi football boot silo soon. Combining a red and white gradient design, the new Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility cleats will be launched on December 1, 2016.

Continuing the gradient design of their October predecessors, the new Adidas Messi PureAgility 2016-2017 boots fit in nicely with the rest of Adidas' Red Limit pack. This includes a 'Predator'-inspired Adidas Ace and red-and-black Adidas X boots.

The upper part of the Red Limit Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility cleats is red, fading to white for the bottom and studs. The lateral Adidas stripes, one of the key features of the design of the laceless second-gen Adidas Messi boots, are black.

Tech-wise, the Adidas Red Limit Messi PureAgility 2016-2017 soccer cleats are the same as the first few releases. Compared to the first generation, they bring the concept of a lace cover to the silo in order to offer a cleaner and larger striking surface. The upper of the Red Limit Adidas Messi 16+ football boots is called 'Agilityknit' and aims to provide a sock-like fit and improved lockdown compared to the first generation.

Set to be released in December 2016, the red-and-white Adidas Messi PureAgility Red Limit cleats retail at $300 (€300).
