Peru is set to go apart with current shirt supplier Umbro and sign a kit deal with Adidas, according to Peruvian newspaper Libero.

Peru is currently dressed by the English brand Umbro, but the contract with the Double Diamonds expires in 2018. Therefore, international brands fight to become Peru's new shirt supplier, with Adidas as favorite according to Libero.

Adidas would not make Peru's jerseys for the first time as they already made Peru's shirts in the golden age of Peruvian football when the national team caused fear in opponents such as the 1978 World Cup.
