Southampton 16-17 Third Kit Released

The new Southampton 16-17 third kit, white and red, was released this morning by the Premier League club and its jersey supplier, Under Armour. A one-off special design to avoid a kit clash, the Southampton 2016-17 third shirt will be worn in this weekend's game away against Bournemouth.

This is the Under Armour Southampton 2016-2017 third shirt.

Based on the same template as the Southampton 16-17 home and away kits, the new Southampton third kit is entirely white, with a red Under Armour logo on the right chest and a Virgin Media sponsor patch centered below it. All in all, the white and red Southampton 2016-17 third jersey is a very traditional look that will work great to prevent a kit clash against red and black Bournemouth.

The understated Southampton 2016-2017 third shirt is combined with red shorts, with white and black trim, and white-red hooped socks, both again based on the same template already used for the home and away Saints uniforms.

Oddly, the Southampton 16-17 third jersey will not be available to buy. However, the club is holding a giveaway that will see one lucky fan become the only Saints supporter to own it.
