Olympique Marseille to Sign Under Armour Kit Deal?

Olympique Marseille could become the first big French club to sign a kit deal with Under Armour, according to reports from RMC.

American businessman Frank McCourt has bought Olympique Marseille from Russian-born billionaire Margarita Louis-Dreyfus. McCourt, the 63-year-old former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, promised fans he would push the club to the "highest ranks of European football," and added that "we have the resources and courage necessary to invest."

Adidas, Puma or Under Armour to Become Olympique Marseille Kit Supplier From 2018-19 Season

Olympique Marseille's current deal with Adidas, which is worth around 10 million Euro per season, will end in June 2018. However, as Marseille is Adidas' most important club in France and as OM is an important brand also in the Middle East and North Africa, the Three Stripes want to continue their sponsorship deal with Marseille and are offering to extend the contract for around 14 million Euro per season until 2022, RMC exclusively reports.

But RMC also reports that Puma and Under Armour are also very interested to end Adidas' relationship with Marseille, with Puma who would have already started talks with the new leaders of the club in order to become their new kit supplier from 2018.
