Update: Ahead of taking on Valencia in Sunday's La Liga headline fixture, Leo Messi was pictured wearing a pair of blackout Adidas Nemeziz 17.1 boots, likely the exact same one spotted in his locker earlier. With Leo Messi's exclusive boot silo set to be replaced this summer, we eagerly await the Argentinean superstar to be spotted wearing his new football boots for the 2017-2018 season, the Adidas Nemeziz boot silo. Now a picture of Messi emerged that likely features Messi's all-new boot for the upcoming season.

Is Messi's Boot A Blackout Adidas Nemeziz Prototype Version?

Unfortunately, the picture of Leo Messi boot is not of a best quality. It can be nevertheless said that Messi's boot is the brand-new Adidas Nemeziz soccer cleat featuring a remarkable heel counter and tongue construction.


Interestingly, the boot seen on the picture looks identical to a prototype that was leaked a few weeks ago. The blackout Messi prototype cleat, which comes with an external heel counter in contrast to the final version of the Nemeziz, also has traditional laces, which means that the Argentinean superstar will again not wear the laceless version of the boots.

The Adidas Nemeziz football boot replaces Messi's exclusive boot silo this summer. Made for ultimate agility, the Adidas Nemeziz soccer cleat will be Adidas' second laceless football boot. The German brand will also release a traditional high-end version with laces for players like Messi who prefer that. Messi will receive an exclusive signature version of the boot, similar to Cristiano Ronaldo who receives signature versions of the Nike Mercurial Superfly.
