Predator Mania Vibes - Here Is Džeko's Full Boot History

AS Roma striker Edin Džeko turns 31 today. We take a closer look at the football boots the captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team has worn during his career so far, including only Adidas boots.

Džeko started his professional career at FK Željezničar wearing the Champagne edition of the Adidas Predator Mania

Edin Dzeko became known worldwide playing for German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg with whom he won the Bundesliga title in 2008-09 wearing Adidas F50.8 Tunit soccer cleats. He switched to the Adidas Adipure boots in 2009 which he should wear until 2011.

Joining Manchester City in Summer 2011, the Bosnian striker made the move from the Adidas Adipure 11pro to the Adidas Predator cleats in late 2011 and became a face of the power and control silo that he had already worn during his first years as professional in the Bosnian league.

Ahead of the 2014 World Cup, Edin Dzeko out of nowhere made the switch to the Adidas F50 Adizero football boots, which he should wear much longer than the silo existed. In fact, when Adidas discontinued the Adidas Adizero boot silo, Džeko did not switch to the Adidas Ace or X but rocked the Adidas F50 Adizero 2015 football boots the full 2015-2016 campaign.

Ahead of the 2016-17 season, Edin Dzeko made the switch to the Adidas X 16 PureChaos football boots, which he should wear until today. Interestingly, Edin Dzeko was once spotted wearing a blackout version of the Adidas Ace 15.1 cleats in January 2016, but never wore the control boots in an official match.
