Premier League club AFC Bournemouth have signed a kit supplier deal with Umbro, the two parties announced today. Umbro replaces JD Sports, who have been making Bournemouth's jerseys for the last few seasons.

Bournemouth will be kitted out by Umbro from 2017-18.

Starting with the 17-18 season, Bournemouth will be kitted out by the iconic Manchester-based double-diamond brand. They join Everton and West Ham as Premier League teams supplied by Umbro.

No details were announced, but the Umbro Bournemouth kit deal will run for an initial five years and breaks the previous club record for a deal of its kind, the club statement said.

“Umbro are known for producing high-quality kits for both international and domestic sides, and our supporters can look forward to unique designs which have been created specifically with them in mind,” explained AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake.
Speaking about the new partnership, Umbro managing director Anthony Little said: “We’re delighted that AFC Bournemouth will be wearing the famous double diamond from the start of next season. “I’m sure fans will love the bespoke kits we’ve created in partnership with the club, and we’re all looking forward to seeing them being worn by fans and players in the coming months.”
