That Made Fans Really Angry - Leicester City Backtrack On New Kit Sleeve Sponsor

Leicester City Football Club announced that Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has become the Club's first Official Shirt Sleeve Partner yesterday, two days after the reveal of the new away kit. Nevertheless, the new Puma Leicester City 17-18 away kit fans ordered online three days ago already feature the purple logo, without the fans being aware.

Therefore, Leicester's fans went furious after they found the purple logo of the new sleeve sponsor Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) without being present on the promotional pictures showing the new kit in the online store and without the deal even announced.

Leicester City Gives In For Fans Sake

Leicester City's stunning new 17-18 away kit is kinda destroyed with the purple logo.

However, after Leicester fans got really angry on social media, Leicester City gave in and now allows supporters to purchase the new away shirt with or without a sponsor on the sleeve. Supporters that received a shirt without a sleeve sponsor and want their shirt to match the one worn by the team on the pitch will have the option of adding the SCB sleeve badge to replica shirts at no additional charge throughout the season.

Premier League allows all clubs from the 2017-18 season allows clubs to have a secondary sponsor on their sleeves. City have teamed up with SCB – Thailand's first bank – and their logo will be a permanent fixture on the squad's jerseys throughout the campaign.
