The upper of the next-generation Adidas X 18+ Purespeed soccer shoes seems to be much thinner and flexible than the one of the current generation, with the lace hidden under an extra layer which is also much thinner and less disruptive.

The inner sock of the cleats is directly connected to the upper. The synthetic upper comes with differently dots one some areas for more control. The sole plate has also been changed compared to the previous generation, while it is not possible to say much about the stud configuration.
