The Puma evoPOWER is History Soon... Giroud Reveals Next-Gen Puma One 2018 World Cup K-Leather Prototype Boots

A few days after we exclusively revealed the next-generation Puma ONE 18.1 launch edition some days ago, Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has trained in a blackout prototype version of Puma's next-generation soccer cleats.

Olivier Giroud is currently a face of the Puma evoPOWER football boots. However, as Puma decided to discontinue the popular Puma evoPOWER boot range in favor of the all-new Puma Future Netfit in 2018, the Frenchman is forced to switch away from the power boot.

Here is a good close-up the cleats worn by Olivier Giroud in training this week.

Building up on the current Puma evoPOWER and the first-gen Puma One, the next-generation Puma One 2018 World Cup soccer boots feature a synthetic upper with remarkable control elements. The forefoot area of Giroud's Puma One boot is made from Kangaroo leather.

In fact, whereas we leaked the synthetic launch colorway, Olivier Giroud has actually given us the first look at the Kangaroo leather edition of the next-generation Puma One 18.1 football boot.

Just as the first generation, the second generation of the Puma ONE football boots features no external heel counter.

The next-generation Puma One 18.1 soccer shoes are set for a launch in late January 2018 with both synthetic and leather versions available.
