Exclusive: Portugal 2018 World Cup Home Kit Leaked

After a bit of an Adidas-heavy last week, we are finally able to reveal the first full Nike kit for the 2018 World Cup in the form of the new uniform of the European champions, Portugal. Based on the Swoosh's next iteration of the Vapor template, the Portugal 2018 World Cup kit will be released in March, together with the away.

Following on Euro 2016's heavily templated look, the Portugal 2018 World Cup jersey combines a red base with gold logos and a few team-specific details on the neck. Unfortunately (or luckily), the multicolor cross that was expected to feature on the front of the Portugal 2018 home kit was dropped in the end and will only appear on the pre-match top.

The sleeves of the Portugal 2018 World Cup shirt are slightly lighter and boast a knit stripe pattern that runs from one sleeve to the other across the top of the arm and upper back, a staple of Nike's 2018 Vapor template.

A rather unique neckline, a bit like the one used for Brazil's home shirt back in 2014, green and with a button at the front and a green-red tape brand at the back, completes the design of Portugal's 2018 World Cup kit.

Unlike England and France, Portugal will not revert to its traditional shirt-shorts-socks combination next year and instead continue to sport red shorts and green socks.

The Nike Portugal 2018 home kit is set to be launched in mid to late March 2018.
