Adidas Predator 18 Debut Boots Leaked

In just about four weeks' time, the Predator will make its triumphant return to Adidas' football boot lineup, and over the last few days the first pictures of the debut colorway have finally surfaced online, showing a turf takedown model.

Adidas Predator Tango 18 TR - Black / White / Solar Red / Tactile Gold Metallic

This image shows the debut colorway of the Adidas Predator 2018 soccer shoe in the turf edition.

First off, although the sockliner reads 18.2, we believe that the leaked image depicts the Adidas Predator Tango 18.1. This is mostly because it features the same sole unit as the current Ace 17+ Purecontrol TF and Ace 17.1 TF, including a bit of Boost at the very rear of the midsole.

Part of the soccer cleat collection Adidas will release in late November / early December, the Predator 18 debut football shoes share colors with the rest of the pack. Predominantly black, the lateral 3 Stripes are white, as is most of the sole. Finally, the Predator branding, which appears on an Accelerator-like heel strap, is gold, while a bit of red can be seen towards the top of the collar.

Although the on-pitch version will have the same or at least very similar colors, we believe that the two shoes will most likely not be identical in terms of how the colors will be used.
