Netherlands 2018 Home Kit Design Leaked

The Netherlands 2018 home kit could barely be more different from the current one, we can reveal. Here's a first look at the jersey, made by Nike, which will be launched together with a new away top in March next year.

With two matches to go, the Netherlands national team sits in third place of its World Cup qualifying group, three points short of Sweden and four of France. First place qualifies directly, while the eight best runners up will compete for an additional four places in a play-off round.

Netherlands 2018 Home Kit

This image shows the colors and base design of the Netherlands 2018 home jersey.

The Netherlands 2018 home kit will combine the traditional orange base, the only feature it shares with the 2016 jersey, with black for logos and accents, while a sash in the colors the Dutch flag will run from the upper left to the lower right side. A space is expected to be left free for shirt numbers on the front of the Netherlands 2018 national team kit.

Template-wise, the Netherlands 2018 jersey will be based on the newest version of the Nike Vapor template, which will bring more unique, personalized designs. Despite retaining a raglan cut, the sleeves of Nike's 2018 World Cup jerseys will likely feature a new design, although nothing definitive has leaked yet.

Whereas 2016's Netherlands home kit paired the orange shirt with orange shorts and purple socks, the Netherlands 2018 kit will include white shorts, with black accents, and orange socks, again with black for logos and trim.

As mentioned above, the Netherlands 2018 home kit, regardless of whether it will be used at the World Cup in the end, will be launched in March next year. It should be debuted in a friendly against England on the 23rd of that month.
