Nike Mercurial Superfly VI Cristiano Ronaldo Chapter 6 'Pride of Portugal' Boots Leaked

Update: New pictures of the Nike Mercurial Cristiano Ronaldo Chapter 6 have been leaked (takedown version). They are predominantly teal with gold brandings and a black collar.

Inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo's national team career with Portugal, the boots are slated for release in March 2018.

The Chapter 6 Nike Mercurial Superfly soccer cleats will be the second last of Nike's series that started in late 2014 and the first to be based on the brand-new Mercurial Superfly VI cleat model.

This draft shows the design of the Nike Mercurial Superfly VI CR7 Pride of Portugal boots.

For the first time since the start of this series, the 2018 Nike Mercurial Superfly VI CR7 soccer boots will be inspired by Ronaldo's national team career and quite possibly the Euro 2016 win.

Tied in nicely with the Portugal 2018 World Cup kits and inspired by the Euro 2016 winning teal jersey color-wise, the boots feature gold Swooshes. A specially designed logo can be seen towards the back of the Nike Mercurial Superfly 6 Cristiano Ronaldo cleats and will also appear on the inside neck of the World Cup kits. A black Dynamic Fit collar rounds off the look.

Tech-wise, the Nike Mercurial Superfly Cristiano Ronaldo Chapter 6 2018 football boots will be the first to be based on the upcoming Superfly 6 model. They introduce a number of key changes but retain most of what the previous generations stand out.

The boots have a one-piece Flyknit upper with a Dynamic Fit collar (shaped a bit differently) and are said to be building on the Flyknit Ultra model that was debuted in Fall 2017. The 3-D upper structure that has been compared to what could be found on Adidas' X 16 model, is one of the most prominent new features of the Nike Mercurial Superfly 6.

In line with the Portugal inspiration, we expect the Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Chapter 6 'Pride of Portugal' soccer boots to be released together with said kit - i.e. in March 2018 - or shortly after. Chapter 4 dropped on 3 April, 2017. As always, the pricing will be slightly above that of regular colorways.
