Exclusive: Laceless Next-Gen Puma ONE 2018 Boot Leaked

Puma is going laceless. With the upcoming new generation of the Puma ONE, the brand looks to expand the available range of models with a laceless high-end boot above the 18.1, based on a picture we received.

Laceless Puma ONE 18 - Puma Black / Puma Silver / Red Blast

This image shows the laceless Puma ONE 2018 football boot.

A somewhat similar look to the Puma 18.1 launch colorway, this new laceless model has an almost entirely black synthetic-leather upper with an evoKNIT sock and an eye-catching strap around the heel and where it'd usually have laces. Said strap features subtle 'PUMA' writings in red, while the entire sole plate is colored red.

The Puma ONE 18 soccer boots have a thin and lightweight synthetic upper and combine it with an evoKNIT sock for a supportive and snug fit around the ankle. A strap replaces the lacing system in a move that is likely to be a first in terms of football boots.

The Pebax outsole of the Puma ONE 18 football boots is identical to the one of the first generation. It features a mixture of conical and bladed studs for speed and agility.

Should they end up releasing - and right now there's not much to suggest they won't - the black and red laceless Puma ONE 18 boots will be released in late January. The RRP is likely to be in the EUR 250 - 300 range.
