Not Happy With Their Kits - Betis to Leave Adidas Two Years Early to Sign Kappa Kit Deal

Spanish newspaper Columna Cero reports that Kappa is set to become Betis' kit maker from the 2018-19 season, replacing Adidas two years ahead of schedule.

Kappa to Become New Betis Kit Maker From 2018-19 Season

Kappa had been already Betis' kit supplier from 1996-97 until 2008-09.

In March 2015, Betis signed a major sponsorship deal with Adidas to become the club's jersey maker for five seasons until 2020. However, the club is not happy with the standard jerseys they receive from the Three Stripes and is therefore looking to leave the Three Stripes ahead of the schedule.

Columna Cero reports that meetings would have already taken place with Kappa, which already dressed Betis between the 1996-97 and 2008-09 seasons. Kappa would be responsible for the cost of the penalty for rescinding the agreement with Adidas and would provide the club with similar income, but with differentiated treatment as they would receive unique kits from Kappa.
