Brentford to Carry Over Home Kit to 2022-23 Season

Brentford FC have announced that they will carry over the current 2021-22 home kit to next season.

The 21-22 home kit was worn in the club's first-ever match in the Premier League, as well as the first one with fans in attendance in almost 18 months, on the first matchday of the season.

"Whilst it is not normal practice for Premier League clubs to roll a kit over for two seasons, fans have told us that they would be in favor of the savings that a two-season shirt would provide. This season, our membership of The Premier League means that the income we receive from broadcast and commercial partnerships far outweighs the income we can generate from retail, therefore now is the perfect time for us to try something different without it having a material impact on our revenue," said Jon Varney, Brentford FC Chief Executive.

This move was made possible by Brentford kit supplier Umbro as well as club sponsors Hollywoodbets and SafetyCulture, who have signed multi-year deals.

The Brentford 21-23 home shirt is available to buy online, retailing at Β£49.
