Adidas Fail to Supply Jamaica Women's and Youth Teams With Goalkeeper Kits

Adidas, the official sponsor of the Jamaican Men's and Women's national teams, apparently failed to provide the Women's and youth team with proper goalkeeper kits for their matches.

Will Adidas treat the Men's the same on 24 March 2023?

Adidas Jamaica 2023 Kits Debuted Without Proper Goalkeeper Kits

During the debut of the Adidas Jamaica 2023 kits, the Women's team wore Adidas teamwear goalkeeper kits without the Jamaica badge, while the U17 team had to wear a training jersey as a makeshift goalkeeper kit.

The incident highlights the challenges faced by Women's teams in getting adequate support and recognition from major sports brands despite being used for marketing photos. It is crucial that not only the Men's but also the Women's and youth teams receive the necessary support and resources to continue their growth and development, and Adidas must step up to fulfill its obligations as the official sponsor of the team.

Additionally, Adidas only provided replica jerseys to the teams. But this is probably also the case for the Men's team.

Jamaica Men's will debut the new Adidas 2023 kit on 24 March 2023. We are sure their keeper won't wear a training kit or badge-less goalkeeper jersey.
