German Football Has a New Horrific Kit Sponsor

Two German football teams have come under fire for their choice of shirt sponsor, both because of the look of the logo on the kit and the company's business.

CrazyBuzzer Become Berlin & Mannheim Kit Sponsor - Teans Under Fire From Fans for Controversial Shirt Sponsor

Hertha Berlin and Waldhof Mannheim, both of whom were previously without a main sponsor, have announced a deal with a new betting company called CrazyBuzzer on Friday.

However, the logo of the company is truly "horrific" and has sparked outrage among fans. While it looks okay on Hertha's home kit, thanks to the red swoosh, it is awful on Waldhof's classic home jersey and Hertha's away kit.

The choice of sponsor has also been criticized for promoting gambling, which can be harmful to some individuals. Hertha Berlin's president, Kay Bernstein, who took office in June 2022, had promised that the club would not enter into any more sponsorships with betting providers in the future. However, due to the club's cash crunch, the Hertha boss has broken his promises.

Hertha get around 2 million Euro for one season from CrazyBuzzer. We all can only hope that the club will have a better sponsor from the 2024-2025 season.
