Since Messi's move to Inter Miami, the MLS tournament has become more popular, attracting more attention and followers. Adidas already decided to return to releasing third kits for MLS teams again before Messi joined. However, it seems possible that Inter Miami only got one because of Messi - MLS teams need to sell a specific number of kits (rumored to be 100,000) to get third kits.
MLS Teams 2024 Third Kits - At Least 5 Teams - LAFC, Inter Miami, LA Galaxy, Kansas City and Portland Timbers
The Adidas MLS 2024 third kits have bespoke designs and color schemes for each team, but each share the same main feature. The sponsor logo on the front of the shirt is replaced with the team or city name.

Inter Miami MLS 2024 Third Kit
The new Adidas Inter Miami 2024 third jersey will have the main color aqua turquoise combined with orange and white accents.
LAFC 2024 Third Kit
The Adidas LAFC 2024 third football shirt has a vintage brown color scheme. It combines an off-white base with brown-golden Three Stripes plus a brown/brown-golden/mustard chest stripe.
Kansas City 2024 Third Kit
The Adidas Sporting KC 2024 third football shirt is mainly white, combined with turquoise blue for the Adidas logo.
Portland Timbers 2024 Third Kit
The new Adidas Portland Timbers 2024 third football jersey will be predominantly maroon ("Victory Crimson), likely combined with a second shade of red for detailing." The color for logos should be white.
LA Galaxy 2024 MLS Third Kit
Our first mock-up of the Adidas LA Galaxy 2024 third football jersey is a half-and-half design in black and dark green (Virdia). Sponsor Herbalife is replaced by 'Galaxy,' similar to their shirt design in the 90s
Our second Los Angeles 2024 third shirt mock-up has a dark green and black vertical stripe design inspired by the team's classic striped kits. The Adidas logo and three stripes on the shoulders are red, while the sleeve cuffs are yellow.
