In an official press statement published on the club's website this evening, the club says that the design for the second kit for the 2024-25 season has "neither been approved nor ordered by the club". It is in the details here - Barcelona did not say the design is wrong.

Indeed, the denial of the leaked kit is likely due to Barcelona's ongoing relationship crisis with Nike. According to Foot Mercato, the club has yet to place orders for next season. "The point of no return was reached when Barça missed two order slots".
