Which Direction Will Nike Go for First Germany Kits?

After the surprise announcement that Nike will replace Adidas as the DFB's kit supplier from 2027, Nike will be under pressure to create the first Nike Germany kit to be impressive, because everyone is familiar with the three-striped German jersey. So what direction will Nike take with its first Germany kit?

Classic or Modern

The first Germany kit (by Nike) will no doubt be carefully considered by Nike down to the last detail. Taking inspiration from a classic design would be great, but perhaps a modern design would make more of an impression on the first shirt launch.

Footy Headlines has created the Nike Germany home and away concept kits based on the Nike 2024 kit template, with the stand-out feature coming from the collar.

Kit designer What if F.C. (@whatif.fc) has created a Nike Germany concept kit inspired by the iconic graphics of the 1986 Germany home kit. That might be a good idea for Nike to look at.

Green Away Kit

In addition, Nike was able to use green as the main color of the first Germany away kit. The green concept for Germany's away kits was well received by the fans.

The last time Germany's away jersey was green was in 2018 (EQT Green).

In addition, Nike can refer to German jerseys from other sports, such as basketball and volleyball, to find the best design solution for the first German Nike jersey.
