Adidas Argentina has ingeniously "revealed" the Boca Juniors and River Plate 2025-2026 home kits. The unveiling came via a creative social media post depicting the new jerseys as items seen through an airport security scanner, packed alongside fan essentials.

The Instagram post from @adidasar, captioned "The Argentinian fan and a passion that never rests... ✈️😎," shows two airport security trays. Each tray contains a folded version of one of the new home kits, along with items like headphones, sunglasses, a phone, and travel documents, playing on the idea of fans traveling to support their teams.

Both Argentinian giants, Boca Juniors and River Plate, are set to participate in the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the USA, where these new home kits will make their official debut.

Boca Juniors and River Plate are Argentina's biggest football rivals

What makes this duo reveal especially interesting is that Boca Juniors and River Plate are Argentina's biggest football rivals, a rivalry so intense it's known as the "Superclásico" (Superclassic).

River Plate 25-26 Home Kit

The Adidas River Plate 2025-2026 home shirt stays true to the club's iconic identity, featuring a clean white base adorned with the famous red diagonal sash (La Banda Roja).

Boca Juniors 25-26 Home Kit

The Adidas CA Boca Juniors 2025-2026 home shirt has the club's famous traditional design - it is navy with the team's "trademark" chest stripe. The colors are darker than in previous years, which is more traditional for the team.

This "airport scanner" reveal is an interesting way to build anticipation for the new kits, especially with the 2025 Club World Cup on the horizon.
