Worst Football Kit of May 2025 - Vote Now - Questionable Choices Abound!

  • Worst Football Kit of May 2025 Vote: Footy Headlines is holding a vote to determine the worst football kit released in May 2025 from a list of 12 nominees.
  • CD Lugo's Special Kit: A Spanish club, CD Lugo, released a special kit resembling ancient brown leather armor, which is considered a questionable design.
  • Voting Process: The initial vote will narrow down the contenders to two kits, and a final vote will be held on X (formerly Twitter) to decide the ultimate 'loser'.

May 2025 has certainly delivered its fair share of kits that have left fans puzzled, disappointed, or simply asking, "What were they thinking?" From clashing colours to baffling patterns and underwhelming efforts from major brands, there's plenty to scrutinize. Now, it's time for you, the Footy Headlines community, to decide which design deserves the dubious distinction of the worst kit released this month.

Worst Football Kit of May 2025

We've compiled a list of 12 contenders that have sparked debate and raised eyebrows. This month's selection includes several prominent clubs and one special edition that especially has missed the mark, coming from a Spanish club known for its bizarre special jerseys.

Lugo's special kit is the most questionable design for a football kit

Lugo is the Spanish club that has gone too far with its special kit, in our opinion. It resembles ancient brown leather armor, complete with printed buckles, straps, and fur-like textures, creating a medieval novelty design that many would not want to wear (especially since it is fully sublimated and lacks any premium feel).

  1. Initial Vote: Cast your vote in the poll below for your LEAST favourite among the 12 nominees. Voting will be open until Thursday, 5 June 2025 (or your chosen end date).
  2. Final Run-off: The two kits receiving the most votes (for being the worst) in the initial poll will advance to a final "loser's" vote held exclusively on our X (formerly Twitter) channel (@Footy_Headlines).

Which kit offended your design sensibilities the most this month? Are there any other particularly dire releases that you think should have made this list? Don't hold back – share your unfiltered opinions in the comments below!
