Manchester City 21-22 Home Kit Leaked

Update: A picture of Phil Foden wearing the new Man City 21-22 home kit is doing the rounds online, giving us a first look at the shorts and socks, which are blue.

Update: The new Man City 21-22 home kit was spotted for sale in an Australian store. We expect it to be released in mid-May 2021, certainly on May 13 2021 - exactly nine years after Agüero's title-winning goal in the 93th minute in 2012.

The Man City 2021-22 home shirt features the Etihad sponsor despite recent speculation about their sponsorship agreement with the airline set to end this summer.

The inside collar shows 93:20 in reference to Agüero's famous goal against QPR in 2012, which meant that City lifted the league title for the first time in 44 years. The '10' part of the 20 is inverted, representing Agüero's shirt number.

The colorway of the Man City 2021-22 shirt also seems to take inspiration from the classy Umbro shirts that were worn during that time. It's the first time since the 2010-11 shirt that the brand and sponsor logos on the front are white.

In line with the most recent Puma jerseys, a subtle all-over pattern, inspired by the scoreboard font style of the collar graphic, covers the front and sleeves of the supposed Man City 20-21 fourth kit.

Blue shorts and socks, based on Puma's new template, complete the kit.

We expect the Manchester City 2021-22 home shirt to be unveiled in May.
