Never Seen Before: Puma Arsenal & Dortmund Prototype Kits Leaked

Kit collector and designer Gustavo Psonkevich (@GusCamisetas) recently shared another batch of old Puma prototypes, following on previous unreleased goodness shared over the past few years.

The pictures show various Arsenal, Dortmund and Düsseldorf prototypes from the 2015-16 season, giving us an idea of how the design process at Puma was like back then.

The Arsenal prototype shows the home kit from the 15-16 season and is the one that's most similar to what ended up being released to the public. The main difference here is that the sleeves feature a red stripe along the top.

The Dortmund home prototype features a subtle jacquard pattern on the front rather than horizontal pinstripes, while the collar is also yellow rather than black.

The away is even more different and features a different template altogether.

It's a similar case with Düsseldorf, where the prototype comes with vertical stripes while the final product has hoops, as well as a white stripe on the top each sleeve.
