Confirmed: Marítimo Join Puma and Bring Back Old Club Crest

Update: Confirming our previous story, Maritimo have shared pictures of their new Puma training wear, confirming their switch from Nike to the German brand.

In addition to that, the Maritimo 22-23 training kits also feature a new badge - it's the one used by the club before switching to the one it now replaces.

Maritimo Join Puma

It was revealed to club members recently that Portuguese side Maritimo will be leaving Nike for Puma. The official announcement is yet to be made.

Nike has been a partner of the club since 2015, producing 4 home kits over the past 7 years. None of these have been based on standard teamwear, however, their overall designs were recycled from basic templates.

As for the away shirts, these were always based on teamwear. Puma are more likely to give Maritimo bespoke sets of kits.

We can also reveal that the club are looking for a new shirt sponsor, as their previous deal with Betano, sponsor of Sporting CP and FC Porto, has run out.
