Under Turkish football regulations, teams earn a star for every five league titles, and Beşiktaş officially secured their 15th league championship at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

Because the production timeline for the 17-18 season required apparel to be finalized before the league title was mathematically clinched, Adidas was forced to add the third star directly on top of the existing two stars in a triangular formation. The newly revealed 18-19 prototype reveals that Adidas originally planned to abandon the pyramid shape in favor of a clean, horizontal side-by-side arrangement of all three stars directly above the crest.

Beyond the star alignment, the prototype also features an older crest material. The sample was created using a traditional flock crest, whereas the final retail pieces and official kits for the 18-19 season transitioned to modern TPU badges. Ultimately, Beşiktaş retained the triangular star layout on official merchandise, making this jacket a rare glimpse at an alternate design direction.

Indonesian giants Persija Jakarta have officially unveiled their new 26-27 home, away, and third kits, celebrating their reunion with adidas.
