The new Chelsea 2016-2017 home kit will boast a classic design, inspired by the club's tradition and legacy. Made by Adidas and again featuring Yokohama as main sponsor, the Chelsea 16-17 jersey will be launched in June 2016.

Combining Chelsea Blue and white, the Chelsea home kit will feature a modern and simplistic style, in line with both Adidas' other 16-17 club jerseys and the brand's Euro 2016 home kits. Designed to represent Chelsea's tradition and legacy, the new Adidas Chelsea 16-17 jersey will boast a pattern of printed Chelsea lions on the front, similar to the Russia 2016 home kit. The Adidas stripes will run down the sides of the new Chelsea jersey in white.
There are a few more notable changes from the current Chelsea home jersey. First, the red accents seen on the 2015-16 Chelsea kit will be gone, with the Chelsea 2016-2017 shirt featuring only shades of blue and white. Additionally, the 'Tyres' annex will be dropped from the Yokohama sponsor logo, creating a more light and streamlined look.
Blue shorts and white socks, both expected to be kept very simple and low-key, will complete the traditional blue-blue-white of the Adidas Chelsea 16-17 home kit.
