The new Adidas Bayern Munich 16-17 home kit will return to a more traditional style after the current 15-16 Bayern jersey mostly featured two shades of red. Set to be launched in June 2016, the Bayern München 2016-2017 shirt will be combined with white shorts for the first time in years.

Made by Adidas, the new Bayern home kit will follow the brand's new style, introduced with its Euro 2016 range. The Adidas Bayern München home kit will boast a modern and simplistic look, inspired by iconic red and white Bayern kits of the past. While those old Bayern jerseys were obviously very low-key in their approach, the Bayern München 2016-2017 home shirt will feature a modern horizontal stripes panel on the front.
Based on Adidas' Euro 2016 kit style, the Adidas stripes will run down on the sides of the red Bayern München 2016-17 home kit in white, while the color is also expected to be visible on the inside of the collar, the Adidas Performance logo and the Telekom sponsor writing. Bayern's Mia san mia motto will be written on the back of the collar of the new Bayern home kit.
Although Bayern did wear white home shirts in its early years, the club has almost exclusively sported red shorts at home. For the Bayern Munich 16-17 home kit, white shorts and red socks will be used, each with accents in the respective other color. It's the first time since the 2005-06 Bayern kit that the shorts will be white at home.
